As a part of the Rotary District 3170 Tree Plantation Drive held from 12th to 19th July 2026, the Rotary Club of Vishrambag successfully conducted a tree plantation programme at Tagare Farm House, Upalavi, on 18th July 2026. The initiative reflected Rotary’s commitment to environmental sustainability and the theme of creating a lasting impact through community service. During the programme, 20 teak saplings were planted with enthusiasm by the participating members. A total of 11 Rotarians actively took part in the plantation drive, demonstrating their dedication towards increasing green cover and protecting the environment for future generations. The activity also encouraged awareness about the importance of afforestation and collective responsibility in combating climate change. The programme concluded with a shared resolve to continue supporting environmental conservation through meaningful service projects.

Rotarians planted saplings to promote environmental sustainability and contribute towards a greener future. The programme was enriched by heartfelt interactions with the elderly residents. Rotarians spent quality time with them, engaging in warm conversations, listening to their life experiences, and sharing moments of happiness and companionship. Their smiles and blessings made the event truly special. This initiative beautifully reflected Rotary’s commitment to both environmental conservation and compassionate community service. By planting trees and fostering human connections, the club proudly lived the Rotary theme of “Creating Lasting Impact.”

The drive was carried out with the active participation of Rotarians, reflecting the club’s commitment to environmental conservation and the Rotary vision of Creating Lasting Impact.
